A major deck remodel was critical for this client as the previous deck support began to fail. We took the opportunity to incorporate a large pergola structure over the dining area to provide relief from the sun's southwest exposure. The design added a larger landing pad to the back door as well as two access points from the deck - one towards the grilling area and the other towards a flagstone landing and lawn. The client has already enjoyed hosting friends and family during the summer months with plenty of seating for larger gatherings.
While the deck was being constructed, the client hired us to furnish a new dining room, piano room, and update the ground floor powder room - bringing a much-needed refresh to these interior spaces that connect nicely to the new exterior space.
